SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - BUILDING STRUCTURES
** Please only apply if you have 4-8 years BUILDING Structures design experience IN AUSTRALIA. This will include Buildings across either Multi-level Residential, Commercial, Retail, Health, Education etc. **
Join an established market leader in Structural Engineering within Australia which competes for high end $1Billion plus projects. With many years of industry experience, they are in a period of growth within the NSW market and are looking to appoint a Structural Engineer.
The role will require the successful candidate to prepare and co-ordinate the design documentation of projects from the concept phase through to contract documentation for various types of structures in high-rise, education, health, retail and other commercial sectors. This role includes site inspections and liaising with clients and other stakeholders.
The successful candidate you will have:
- Circa 5 years of post graduate professional experience as a Structural Engineer from a consultancy/design background in Sydney.
- Experience in the design of commercial, industrial, high-rise, education and health care buildings
- Experience in the design of structural steel/timber framed structures, masonry and reinforced concrete with PT concrete being a distinct advantage.
- Strong practical and technical ability, and conceptual understanding.
- A good knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
- A pro-active and technically confident approach to work.
- Solid ability in the use of structural software packages such as Etabs, RAPT, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven organization skills.
A salary package to $130K is on offer.
