Founded by Simon Bloom in 2009, ConstructEng Australia grew into a recruitment brand with a LinkedIn network of over 15,000 industry professionals. Simon's own background spans executive search inside Transport for NSW's internal talent acquisition function, supporting senior appointments across its once-in-a-generation $76.7B infrastructure program, through to in-house talent leadership for a global insurer. It's for recruitment agencies and employers hiring their own people, for any role, in any industry, anywhere in the world. It scores every applicant against the role description, tests the claims in each CV and keeps each person's messages and replies on their record, going further than anything we found in the established products we compared it with. STARselect Check is a standalone product for job seekers, recruiters and employers, with no STARselect or applicant tracking system needed. Job seekers check their own CV against a job before they apply: a score with the reasons, then an evidence check that shows every finding, up to 15, each with a prompt to fill the gaps and correct the errors, instead of interview questions. Recruiters and employers score an applicant's CV against the role description, with the reasons, then the evidence check with up to 10 questions to test the claims.
